Rental Agreement

5 Rental terms

1. Rental period: The rental begins and ends on the dates agreed with Subzero Stays GK. Any extension requires prior approval.
2. Driver eligibility: Only the authorised drivers listed in this agreement may drive. Each driver must hold a valid licence and, where required, a valid international driving permit together with their passport.
3. Payment and security: Rental fees, deposits and payment arrangements are those confirmed with the booking. Card details are handled separately and must not be entered in this form.
4. Use of vehicle: The vehicle must be used lawfully and must not be used off-road, for racing, towing, subletting or any illegal activity. Driving while impaired is prohibited.
5. Insurance and liability: Comprehensive insurance is included, subject to the insurer’s policy. The standard excess is ¥100,000. The renter remains responsible for uninsured loss, exclusions and damage caused by misuse, negligence or an unauthorised driver.
6. Accidents and damage: Any accident, damage, theft, warning light or mechanical issue must be reported to Subzero Hakuba immediately. Contact the police where required and follow the rental company’s instructions.
7. Vehicle return: Return the vehicle at the agreed time and location, free of rubbish and personal belongings, with the same fuel level as supplied unless otherwise agreed.
8. Documents and privacy: Identity documents are collected only to confirm driving eligibility and administer the rental. Do not upload payment-card information.
